Dr. Ahmad Hamid Appointed Fellow of the Masonry Society

Dr Hamid was officially recognized as a Fellow of The Masonry Society (TMS) at the 2005 Annual Meeting Awards Luncheon held in Cincinnatti, Ohio on October 15th. He is a founder of TMS and has been involved in many activities of the society since its inception in 1978.

Professor Wartman on ASCE Team in New Orleans

Professor Joseph Wartman of our department has been selected to be a member of a team sent by the American Society of Civil Engineers to do on-site studies of the damages in New Orleans. He is currently on site, and is expected back some time after October 8. The objectives and members of the team are on the ASCE web page.
