Job Summary:

-Develop client relationships by providing implementation and training services for Revit Architecture or Civil 3D which includes needs analysis, essentials training, standards/template creation, pilot project coaching to assist our clients to successfully in implement new 3D technology

-Provide technical support by phone and email for Autodesk products

-Conduct standard (using courseware) and customized training for architectural and engineering firms

-Present Demonstrations, Seminars and Workshops for Autodesk Products

-Keep up-to-date with current trends and Autodesk products on products such as Revit Structure, Revit MEP, 3D VIZ, 3D Max, Buzzsaw, Constructware, Navisworks, Map 3D and more.

-Evaluate new technology solutions that will address clients’ needs and fulfill their business goals

Job Requirements: -College degree / pursuing a degree in the architectural or civil or related engineering fields or equivalent experience

-Experience using Revit Architecture or Autodesk Civil 3D in a production environment or extensive software knowledge

-Local and Regional Travel (within 2 hrs) with an occasional overnight

Skill Qualifications:

-Basic Knowledge of Architecture/Interior Design or Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture and/or Urban Planning Industry

Women's Transportation Seminar Scholarships

Women's Transportation Seminar (WTS) Philadelphia Chapter Scholarships (Due Nov. 5)

WTS invites qualified applicants to apply for the Carmen E. Turner, the Suzanne B. Axworthy, and the Sylvia Alston Scholarships that are open to graduate and undergraduate students. The purpose of these scholarships is to encourage women to pursue careers in transportation.

The competition is open to women with a GPA of 3.0 or higher who plan to pursue a career in transportation and who are currently enrolled in a degree program in a transportation-related field such as engineering, planning, finance or logistics.

The deadline for the WTS Carmen E. Turner Scholarship and the Suzanne B. Axworthy Scholarship applications is November 5, 2007.   Two top recipients of the scholarship will be candidates for the WTS National Scholarships, which are awarded in May of 2008.

Co-op Opportunity - on Campus for Spring/Summer Term

Job Description: During your co-op you will work with Prof. Haas and his research group to develop and implement a program, being conducted on behalf of the Philadelphia Water Department (PWD), to understand recreational uses of water bodies (streams, rivers, etc.) in Philadelphia and their relationship to health. We will map location and frquency of recreational use, dvelop data bases describing use, and in conjunction with PWD will develop methods to relate water quality and use to health. The position will involve field work and basic computer work. Student should have a drivers license.

Environmental Summer Internship Program

Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals

The Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals of Northern Arizona University in conjunction with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is sponsoring the 2007 Environmental Summer Student Internship Program. Students will have the opportunity to gain professional skills by, assisting government agencies and Native American tribes with special environmental projects related to air quality and environmental protection. Projects may consist of: conducting research or conducting field operations, developing public policy or developing environmental education materials, working in environmental engineering or working with GIS, spending your time in an office or spending time in the woods.

As a summer intern, you can: 

O        Assist EPA/Tribal agencies with environmental issues

O        Acquire ready-to-use skills and gain meaningful experience

Compensation:

o        The 10-week internships will last from approximately June through August. Student interns will be provided with a $4000 stipend, with housing and travel allowances available as needed.

Requirements:

O        Full-time Undergraduate or Graduate student with satisfactory academic standing

O        Major in an environmental (science, engineering, planning, policy, law, management) or related (political science, anthropology, health) field.

O        Good communication (verbal and written) and word processing skills

O        An strong interest in working with Native American tribes

Society of Fire Protection Engineers - John D. Cook Scholarship

The Scholarship Committee of the Philadelphia-Delaware Valley Chapter of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers is pleased to announce its offering of scholarships for the 2006-2007 academic year.  We are seeking candidates for consideration to receive awards from the John D. Cook III Scholarship Fund, for demonstrated academic achievement.  In the past, scholarship awards ranging from $500.00 to $1,500.00 have been awarded. More than one scholarship may be awarded, depending on the number and quality of applications received.
